How to cook with less salt. Salt-free diet.


Many people who wanna lose weight so badly
count calories of food,but most of people 
don't care about their intake of sodium.
Salt-free diet isn't only for high-blood pressure 
people, and good news is 
you can lose weight easily
only by cutting salt from your meals.
If you are really fat now, I'm sure
you can lose more than 3 kg every weeks
just by reducing salt as much as possible,
because very fat people tend to accumulate 
many extra water and fat inside of their bodies.
Plus, they can lose weight easily actually 
than average weight people because 
extra water is easy to remove 
in short time.

I know the salt is an essential seasoning 
for all kinds of chef but Patissier who use many
sugar to bake sweets.
I also remember it was really hard 
for me to stop putting soy sauce or 
my favorite Sriracha sauce(´;ω;`)
on my food , because these two sauce
make all food more tasty and so delicious!!

But I also recognized there are many wonderful
seasoning which make food taste better without
no-sodium(・ω・)

I took the first photo in my kitchen, and
all of them are salt-free seasoning
and useful, especially my favorite
is all-purpose salt free spice.

Ingredients

Organic Onion, Organic Garlic, Organic Black Pepper, Organic Tomato, Organic Bell Pepper, Organic Carrot, Organic Orange Peel, Organic Celery, Organic Sage, Organic Rice Concentrate, Organic Cumin, Organic Thyme, Organic Oregano, Organic Rosemary.

These herbs also contain a good amount of minerals like potassium.

I also love to use balsamic vinegar and lemon
on my salad(^▽^)
Do you know pasta itself is salf-free?
Additionaly sodium inside of any kinds of noodles
will be removed after boiling in hot water.
(80-90% sodium will be removed
, it's recommendable to use plenty of water)
I don't add salt when I boil pasta
and it's totally okay because 
pasta sauce includes enough salt('ω')
I also think it doesn't affect taste so much.
In the restaurant chef use salt when 
they boil pasta for good taste but 
we don't need to do that.
They need to cook the most delicious food
to get repeater but we don't.

I wrote down many ideas to cut salt 
from your diet.
Your sense of taste will also become 
better and you will not want to
eat salty food anymore once 
you get used to reduced salt diet(^▽^)/

Cutting salt ideas
  • Ask for dressings or sauces on the side, so you only have as much as you want. Most of restaurant dressings and sauces can be high in salt and calories!! If you ask politely with smile, they will serve your salad with pleasure(o^―^o)
  • Try baking or roasting vegetables such as red peppers, tomatoes, zucchini, fennel, parsnips and mushroom to bring out their flavour. Squeeze lemon on baked veges are also yummy!
  • Make sauces using ripe tomatoes and garlic. Tomatoes themselves include sodium. Spinach too, so you don't need to add anything.
  • Use black pepper as seasoning instead of salt. Try it on pasta, scrambled egg, salad, fish and soup.Black pepper itself has impressive antioxidant and antibacterial effects!
  • Add all-purpose spices to pasta dishes, vegetables and meat. Try garlic, ginger, Sichimi(Japanese seven flavor peppers) and lemon in stir fries.
  • Use dashi (Konbu or Bonito base soup) instead of using cubes or flavor granules.
  • Abandon first water of your cup noodles to remove extra sodium in your noodle and use half of the soup powder and add some curry powder or salt-free spice you love.(This is really good way to eat cup noodle healthier!!) 
  • Eat something sweet like rice cake or chocolate, then eat less food in your lunch or dinner. Small amount of sweets make you feel satisfied and you can't eat much in your meals. (This is Japanese girl secret diet.) Plus, most of rice cake and chocolate don't include salt at all. Check the label. Additionally, red beans cake is effective to remove bloating from your body.
  • Bake potatoes with rosemary or with basil, then you can put Tahini (Mediterranean healthy sesame sauce). This was amazingly delicious and I was so impressed when I found this recipe(>_<) Tahini is also wonderful sauce and many vegan love it!
  • Avoid eating breads because most of breads in USA include high percentage of sodium.UK government has reduced sodium in process food gradually since 2005 and UK succeeded to reduce 26 million dollars of the government's medical expenses('_')
  • Stop eating hum, sausages, bacon, cheese, potato chips. Eat fruits and nuts instead(; ・`д・´)
  • Soluble vitamins or supplements sometimes include sodium, so please check your supplement label. I always buy sodium-free vitamin C and B tablets.
